Membership fees are valid from 1 January to 31 December each year.

For Regular A, B and C membership levels only:

  • Half Year rates apply to new members who join from 1 July to 30 September
  • New members who join from 1 October pay the full year rate and have their membership extended to 31 December of the following year

The Australian Pain Society (APS) is keen to enlist as members, professionals interested in supporting the society in its goal of alleviating the suffering of our fellow citizens.

Active membership in the APS is open to all health care professionals engaged in pain research or in the diagnosis and management of pain syndromes.

Membership of the Australian Pain Society is governed by clause 6 of the APS constitution (10 April 2019) and its supporting By-Laws and Committee Charters.
